View and share Power BI Report Server (PBIRS) reports full screen

The O365 Power BI Service has an easy “expand” icon on reports to make them full screen whereas Power BI Report Server (PBIRS) lacks that feature. We can still view reports full screen, however, using this simple trick in the URL:

  1. Save your report to Power BI Report Server1.png
  2. Click “Take me there” when finished or browse to your report manually in your browser2.png
  3. Add ?rs:embed=true to the end of the URL3.png
  • Hit enter, and your report will display full screen! Use that appended URL for sharing with others or embedding in SharePoint pages.4.png

It sounds like someday Power BI Report Server users may also be able to hide the “filters” pane seen on the right. In O365/Power BI Service, you’re currently able to do this to embedded reports by adding &filterPaneEnabled=false to the URL.

    Hello,

I am trying to use this solution but whenever I hit enter it drops the “?rs:embed=true&filter=” off of my URL and still shows the parts of the screen I want to hide. Am I doing something wrong?
